BUILDING YOUR HOME ON THE ROCK

The bible describes a wise woman as the one who keeps her home; Proverb 14:1-3. The dictionary also defines a wise person as one that is able to make sensible decisions and give good advice. It is true that keeping a home involves making sensible decisions. It is therefore necessary for you to ask God for grace to keep your home.

Grace is likened to the engine oil in a car without which the engine knocks. Remember! Though the engine oil (grace) is available, someone has to apply it in the engine (Your home). That someone is you.

The process of putting in the engine oil is the wisdom, sacrifice and the service you offer daily to ensure the family stays together. Give it a try! And you will see God at work in your home.

Sacrifice a little more, exercise faith in your relationship, work harder to make it work out and be dedicated to your marital vows. Proverbs 6:6-8.

God  given wisdom of a woman directs her to:

Though a woman is expected to make sensible decisions to ensure harmonious relationship in the home, the man of the house also has a role to play to keep the home together. Col. 3:19 instructed husbands to love their wives and not be harsh or bitter or resentful toward them”. Submission and love should be reciprocal; Eph 5:22-25. Some cases may appear impossible but with God all things are possible; Luke 1:37.
If you tried all you could and it did not work, please seek the help of the Holy Spirit for directions. Ask God if there is something you should do and haven’t done. Rest assured that the Great Director in the person of the Holy Spirit will graciously direct you aright: 2 Cor 3:17-18 4:17-18. Shalom!
